The Indian Head Agriculture Society promoted crops, livestock and horticulture through fairs, displays and competitions and awarded shields, trophies, ribboms and cash prizes to winners (see Indian Head History Book pp 57-60).

Likely handed down by Arthur and Edith Leach. Arthur Leach was Indian Head's postmaster (1906-1949), mayor (1919) and president of the Indian Head Horticultural Society (1929-1930) (see IH History Book pp 498-499).
