Arthur Leach, Indian Head's postmaster (1906-1949) and mayor (1919) was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Oddfellows Lodge (see IH History Book p 499). The Masonic Lodge in Indian Head was formed in 1886. This 1936 celebration marked the lodge's 50th anniversary in Indian Head (see IH History Book p 185).
