General note
Glenys Ray served as Mayor of Rosetown from 1976-80 (two terms). The main events of her tenure were the openings of the Cargill Elevator on the east side of town, Saan Store on Main St., Coco-Cola Warehouse and the Scotia Bank on Main Street. Arrived here as Miss Gibson in 1929 before marrying Happy Ray. Died in 1987.
