Scope and content
Photograph of a motorcade of vehicles that started in Meadow Lake SK, and travelled to Swift Current SK. The motorcade was organized to draw attention to the poor condition of Highway #4, and their hopes were to get work done to improve the road and eventually link it up to #19 Highway in Montana USA. Included in the motorcade was Ab Rorke, Commissioner of the North Battleford Chamber of Commerce, Ron Close, president of the North Battleford Chamber of Commerce, Irwin McIntosh, editor of the North Battleford News-Optimist, and Martin Semchuk, MLA for Meadow Lake.
