Records in the collection were mostly transferred to the Region (formerly Conference) archives from the Information and Statistics office of the United Church of Canada, which collected documents yearly from pastoral charges across the country. Materials from 2011 onwards were received in batches, from 2012 through 2023. It appears many of the earlier reports and newsletters followed a similar pattern but certain of these may have also been collected from other sources, some received via St. Andrew's College Library, Saskatoon.

This collection consists of annual reports created by more than 220 pastoral charges that existed within the boundaries of the United Church of Canada Saskatchewan Conference, from the late-1960s through 2018, and Living Skies Regional Council, from 2019 through 2021. Some church newsletters, financial statements, histories and associated documents are also included.

Records dated 2011 and later were transferred to the archives from the UCC Information and Statistics office (Toronto). Most earlier materials likely also arrived this way, though some may have been independently collected by the Conference from other sources.
Organização
Original order for many of these records is unclear. Contents of the collection were largely received and processed in yearly batches. Materials from 1996 and 2003 were arranged and described ca.2004, most others after 2012.

The collection is intended as a supplement to relevant local church records fonds. Reports were usually only kept with this group when they were not already included in the records received directly from the pastoral charges.
