This fonds contains a variety of material relating to George’s interests and career; including drafts of his book on fountain pens; publications and ephemera concerning the Saskatoon Public Library’s history; and ephemera from cultural events in Saskatoon.

This fonds contains material relating to the Ukrainian community in Canada (1930-1957); the Saskatchewan Golden Jubilee committee (1953-1955); the Provincial Archives [Saskatchewan Archives Board] (1942-1947); the department of Slavic Studies (1943-1957); and the Citizenship Division, Department of National War Services (1941-1946).

The collection contains materials relating to the project, and in particular, images taken by the school children. These images document people admired and loved; pets; images of the city, neighborhoods, school and school grounds; and other materials which may well alter and change over time, including currency, various electronic apparatus including computers, cell phones, televisions, and stereos; modes of transportation, including cars and school buses. As such, the collection represents a good sample of materials which document Saskatoon at a specific time; and in particular documents the inner city area near King George school, and the school's teachers, students, and activities.

This fonds contains material concerning the withdrawal of librarians from the Employee's Union, the Association of Professional Librarians, and the Committee on the Status of Librarians, as well as information concerning the Instructional Resources Centre, the Reference and Serials departments, the Archives, the Education Resource Centre, acquisitions, and Canadian Library Week.

This fonds contains material created or collected by S.D. Hanson during his career. The majority of the fonds is comprised of research materials and notes, drafts and manuscripts, published works, association-related activities, a portion of his archival and historical library and his personal and professional correspondence.

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes, agenda, reports, clippings, surveys, and studies pertaining to the administration and development of the University Library system.

This fonds contains two distinct sets of material. The first documents Wiebe’s career at the University Library and the second his participation in the activities of the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association (USFA).
