Scope and content
File contains photographs of scenes from Batoche, including the church, cemetery, the cairn that was erected to commemorate this event, the rectory (which has been converted to a museum), and the metis rifle pits that are now barely visible in the earth overlooking the river. Also pictured are Gloria Daku who is a guide at Batoche, and George Pilon who was a boy during the rebellion, but whose father fought with Louis Riel. Items numbered 1 to 12 are SP-Bs ( 2x2" format) and items 13 to 27 are SP-As (35 mm).
