Describing Soviet Agriculture and prospects of its development, Vladimir Matskevich touched, among other things, on business contacts existing between the USSR and Canada in the field of agriculture: exchange of seeds, the purchase by the Soviet Union of some cattle breeds in Canada, etc. He also pointed out that the Soviet Union used Canadian experience in reclaiming virgin lands in Siberia and Kazakhstan.
