"A new idea for teaching human values in high school has brought a new course in humanities to Emery Collegiate Institute and a Hilroy Fellowship to three Metro Toronto teachers. Roy C. Hill, chairman of the board of Hilroy Stationery and Envelopes Ltd. and founder of the Hilroy Fellowship program presented an award valued at $1200 to the teachers at a ceremony at the school this fall. It was one of 14 Hilroy Fellowships granted to classroom teachers this year. Administered by the Canadian Teachers' Federation Trust Funds, the fellowship program was started last year with a $1 million donation from Mr. Hill.
