Photographs show interior and exterior views of the Saskatchewan Power Corporation's A.L. Cole Generating station, including looking across the river with the pumphouse buildings and tower in the foreground prior to demolition of the 1912 Saskatoon Power House building. Other photographs show machinery; control rooms; water pipes in the old tunnel from the pumphouse tower to the 1912 station, turbines; the facade of the 1907 power house at the Water Treatment Plant; an exterior view of the A.L. Cole from 19th Street; views of the 1912 station including the start of demolition; the newly-completed water intake and pumping station on the riverbank in front of the 1912 tower; a machine shop and exterior construction work. Accompanying newspaper article includes details of power generation history and equipment in Saskatoon from 1906.
