General note
Opened his Rosetown office in 1913. He was chairman of the school board from 1920 to 1927, Mayor of Rosetown from 1930 to 1934 and Senator from 1933 to 1971. He was born in 1885 and died in Rosetown in 1971. Walter Aseltine School opened in 1961 was named for him.
