Institutionele geschiedenis
Uranium City Pastoral Charge was formed around 1952, part of Prince Albert Presbytery and consisting of the Uranium City appointment. By 1962, Eldorado and Gunnar Mines had also joined the charge. Soon after, the charge was transferred to Edmonton Presbytery, in the Alberta and Northwest Conference. In 1981, it re-joined Saskatchewan Conference and became part of Saskatoon Presbytery. With the closure of the mine and depopulation of the area, the charge was eventually disbanded, on June 30, 1983.
Geschiedenis beheer
Original provenance for many of the records in the fonds is unclear. Initial items were transferred to the archives between 1925 and 1986. Further accruals were received by Saskatchewan Conference archives in 1993, 1998 and 2005.
Bereik en inhoud
The fonds consists of textual materials generated by Uranium City Pastoral Charge and its constituent churches (Uranium City, Gunnar and Eldorado) – the boards, committees and related bodies, local women’s units and other groups.
Contents include: Official Boards and congregational meetings; correspondence; newsletters and reports; historic membership and communion rolls; a guest book and church history file; and registers of baptisms, marriages and burials held at Uranium City, Gunnar, Eldorado, Bushell and related locations.

Ordening
Original order for many of these records is unclear. Items under A.381.XV were arranged and listed as local church records sometime before 1990, with various others under XV.SA and XV.SC added in 1993, 1998 and 2005. The fonds was created in 2021, to include records previously listed and any new accruals.
