Scope and content
The U of S House Band performed throughout the noon-hour and afternoon, and presented Ivany with a CD of their songs, including one written for the retiring president. The campus-based band members include: Gregg Parchomchuk, tenor sax; Syl White, keyboards/alto sax/vocals; Brian Fredrickson, trumpet/vocals; Liz Harrison, vocals; Karen Schmidt, vocals; Bill Wilcox, bass/vocals; Doug Nicholls, drums/vocals; Bob Lucas, trumpet; Evert van Olst, guitar/vocals; Nowell Seaman, guitar/vocals; and Bruno Konecsni, rhythm guitar/vocals.
