Algemene aantekening
The Foster family homesteaded 8 miles north of Rosetown. Their house was prefabricated at their home in Quebec and shipped in a box car of settler's effects. The 1 1/2 story 20 x 30 foot home was insulated with straw and in 1905 was probably the first such home and a centre of local enterprise.
