Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Charles Douglas Stewart was born at Central Butte, Saskatchewan. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. Dr. Stewart graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BSc in Agricultural Engineering. His career included work with the Prairie Farm Rehabiliation Administration, the U of S Agricultural Engineering faculty, Agra Oil Products in Nipawin, and the Saskatchewan Water Resources Board. Dr. Stewart died in 1992 at Lethbridge, Alberta.
