Administrative history
Lake Valley Pastoral Charge was formed between 1951 and 1958, as part of Moose Jaw Presbytery and containing appointments at Lake Valley and Darmody. Lake Valley had initially been part of Brownlee Pastoral Charge, in 1925, then later moved to Keeler Pastoral Charge (ca.1936-195?). Around 1965/1966, it became part of Tugaske-Eyebrow Pastoral Charge, alongside points at Brownlee, Eyebrow and Tugaske.
Eventually Lake Valley was re-formed as its own charge, on March 25, 1999. It closed on June 26, 2016.

Administrative history
Central Butte Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing preaching points at Central Butte, Robin Hood and Green Prairie. Administrative history
Tugaske Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Moose Jaw Presbytery and containing just the Tugaske preaching point.
Between 1946 and 1951, Tugaske and Eybrow Pastoral Charges amalgamated to form Tugaske-Eyebrow Pastoral Charge, with appointments at Bridgeford, Brownlee, Eskbank, Eyebrow, and Tugaske. Lake Valley was added around 1965 and Keeler around 1982. Brownlee amalgamated with Keeler in 1986 and eventually closed, on June 30, 1996.
The charge amalgamated with Central Butte Pastoral Charge, on July 1, 2007, forming the new Spirit Hills Pastoral Charge.

Arrangement
Original order for many of these records is unclear. Items under XV.A and XV.B were arranged and listed as local church records sometime before 1990 and the accruals (under XV.SA, XV.SC, and XV.SR) were added between 1990 and 2022. The fonds was created in 2022, to include records previously listed and any new accruals.
