Institutionele geschiedenis

Shellbrook Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Prince Albert Presbytery and consisting of Shellbrook, Hilldrop and Jack Pine appointments. As of 1932, the charge consisted of Shellbrook, Hilldrop, Cameo and Wild Rose. Rozilee and Briarlea also joined them, by 1936, as well as Holbein and Parcee, ca.1940. Between 1946 and 1951, Canwood, Polwarth and Marchant Grove (previously Canwood Pastoral Charge) moved to Shellbrook Pastoral Charge, alongside Cameo, Foxdale, and Shellbrook points. By 1962, the only remaining points listed were Shellbrook, Canwood and Marchant Grove (until ca.1967).

Around 1972, Canwood moved to Big River Pastoral Charge (soon after re-named Big River - Canwood Pastoral Charge) and Shellbrook joined with points at Craigmore and Leask to create Shellbrook-Leask Pastoral Charge. After 1975 or so, Craigmore is no longer listed in the charge (it may have closed). Leask closed October 29, 2005.

Institutionele geschiedenis

Leask Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Prince Albert Presbytery and consisting of Leask, The Reserve, and Kilwinning. As of 1932, the re-named Blaine Lake and Leask Pastoral Charge (just Blaine Lake Pastoral Charge by 1936) included Craigmore, Mt. Olive and Carleton Union points. By 1958, the name had returned to Leask Pastoral Charge and by 1962, it had become Leask - Shell Lake Pastoral Charge, with Blaine Lake, Craigmore and Mildred appointments.

Around 1965, the charge returned to the name Leask Pastoral Charge, with points at Blaine Lake and Craigmore. The point at Shell Lake moved to Spiritwood Pastoral Charge. By 1972, Leask joined the Shellbrook and Craigmore points to form Shellbrook-Leask Pastoral Charge.
