General note
The Rosetown Elks built the community hall at 120 2nd Ave. west. Financed by a town canvas of $3,500.00 and $11,000.00 in shares sold. Cost of the building was $20,000.00 in 1934. The town paid the lumber bill and took over the hall for unpaid taxes
