Administrative history
Richardson Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, as part of Regina Presbytery. Initially, the charge included preaching points at Richardson, Estlin and Kronau. (Estlin would later move to Riceton Pastoral Charge, before closing in 1989.) By 1951, Richardson had become part of Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge, alongside points at Grand Coulee and Sherwood. Around 1968, Drinkwater, Pense, Stoney Beach, Grand Coulee, Sherwood, and Richardson joined together to form the new Pense - Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge.
By the 1980s, Richardson Pastoral Charge had been re-established. The charge continued until April 23, 1983, when it was disbanded.

Administrative history
Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, as part of Regina Presbytery. Initially, the charge included preaching points at Grand Coulee and Sherwood. In 1948, the charge also added the Richardson preaching point. From 1968 until 1970, Grand Coulee was part of a six-point Pastoral Charge, with Pense, Drinkwater, Stoney Beach, Richardson and Sherwood. When this ended, Grand Coulee and Sherwood joined Wascana Pastoral Charge.
Around 1973, Grand Coulee re-established its own Pastoral Charge, and soon after these points joined with Pense, Drinkwater and Stoney Beach to form Pense - Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge. (Sherwood stayed in Wascana Pastoral Charge, eventually closing, June 30, 1990.) After the joint-charge was dissolved, Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge was re-established. In 1994, Grand Coulee and Pense-Drinkwater Pastoral Charges amalgamated, as Plainsview Pastoral Charge. The points at Pense and Drinkwater both formally closed on June 30, 1998, leaving Grand Coulee as the remaining congregation in the charge.

Around 1968, Pense joined with preaching points at Drinkwater, Stoney Beach, Grand Coulee, Sherwood, and Richardson to form the new Pense - Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge. After the joint-charge was dissolved ca.1970, and preaching points Grand Coulee and Sherwood moved to Regina Wascana Pastoral Charge (until ca.1973 and 1990, respectively).
Pense Pastoral Charge was re-established ca.1973, then later joined with Drinkwater to become Pense-Drinkwater Pastoral Charge, with preaching points at St. Andrew's (Pense) and Drinkwater. In 1994, Grand Coulee and Pense-Drinkwater Pastoral Charges amalgamated, as Plainsview Pastoral Charge. The points at Pense and Drinkwater both formally closed on June 30, 1998.

Arrangement
Original order for many of these records is unclear. Items under A.381.XV.A and A.381.XV.B were arranged and listed as local church records sometime before 1990, with various others under XV.SA added in batches, in 1992, 1998, and 2004. The most recent batch, under A.1109.XV.SR was listed, described and added ca.2018. The fonds was created in 2021, based on historical relationships between the charges, records previously listed and any new accruals.
