Eager Registrar's Office staff threw open the sliding doors to their sparkling new Student Information Kiosk May 10 and began to serve students in the handy new facility in the Administration Building lobby. Here, Registration, Exams & Convocation staff member Gweneth Jones, behind the corner counter, helps a student out. Registrar Ken Smith says three people will staff the Kiosk, and a large number of the students who used to have to crowd into the old Registrar's Office counter area can now be served in this more open lobby area. The Kiosk's "West Window", at right, is for current students and alumni to obtain services like convocation, exam inquiries, income tax receipts, student loan confirmation, transfer credit, and transcript requests and pick-up. The "North Window", at left, is for transfer students, new applicants, and award applicants.
