Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Charles Rhodes received his DVM at the University of Minnesota, then completed a MSc degree at Iowa State University. In 1971 Dr. Rhodes joined the faculty of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine as a large animal clinician, professor and researcher. During his 36 years Dr. Rhodes served as department head and as associate dean of research for a decade. He served as dean of the WCVM (2002-2010). Dr. Rhodes retired in 2010 after 39 years. He is Professor Emeritus, Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, WCVM (2021).
