General note
Mayor H. Greenwood left his farm in 1942 and moved to Rosetown. After one year on Council he became Mayor where he served from 1953 to 1961. Because water, natural gas and street paving had come to town it was a period of rapid growth. Building permits for one year were over 1 million dollars. He died in 1969.
