Bio/Historical Note: Murdock Matheson was the first teacher at Ogema, Saskatchewan and taught there from 3 Jul 1911 to June 1914. Matheson was part of the first Regina Normal School staff in 1927 before moving on to teach at the University of Saskatchewan, where he stayed until he retired in 1946. Matheson wrote a book called "Looking Backwards Over My 50 Years in Saskatchewan," that was published in 1960.
