Head and shoulders image of V. Lynne Pearson, Dean of Commerce, 1996-2006.
Bio/Historical Note: Born and raised in Saskatchewan, V. Lynne Pearson received a BA from the University of Saskatchewan in 1966, and a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University in Ottawa a year later. In 1971 she completed an MA at the University of Alberta. Pearson was Dean of Commerce at the U of S from 1996-2006. In 2001 Pearson received the 2001 Lieutenant Governor’s medal for distinguished public service by the Regina Regional Group of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC). She held several local and national positions with IPAC, including chair of the Regina Regional Group.
