General note
Looking south-east along the railway yards form the C. P. R. water tower in 1897. Part of Front Street on the left, the C. P. station in the centre foreground. Along the south side of the spur track are some small storage warehouses, one was erected by Thos. Meredith for grain storage and shipping, at the extreme right is the immigration hall, and farther east is the old fair grounds with some celebrations taking place.
