Lloydminster Museum and Archives
The Lloydminster Regional Archives opened its doors officially as part of the celebration of the Lloydminster centennial in 2003.
Our total space of 920 square feet houses both an office/research area and 460 square feet of climate-controlled storage area.
To collect, catalogue, conserve and make available historically significant information, in several formats and media, that is generated in the Lloydminster Region.
The collection consists of records in the following categories: Agriculture, Barr Colonists, Business and Professions, Education, Family files, Obituaries, Oral Histories, Government,Health, Local and Regional History, and the Oil Industry.
The Archives is accessible through the Lloydminster Cultural and Science Centre.
Hours of Operation are:
Wednesday 10:00 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00
Thursday 9:30 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00
Friday 9:30 - 12:00, 1:00 - 3:30
Summer hours for July and August
