The Lloydminster and District Centennial Commemorative Association Inc. was established to organize various projects and events to celebrate the centennial of the arrival of the Barr Colonists in the Lloydminster area. The Association was instrumental in creating the Lloydminster Regional Archives to preserve the materials collected for the centennial projects, and to collect and preserve other records relating to the history of Lloydminster and the surrounding district.
