1925–

Lafleche Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing appointments at La fleche and Melaval. By 1951, the charge had been renamed Lafleche-Melaval Pastoral Charge and it contained the additional Harwood preaching point. The name returned to Lafleche Pastoral Charge by the 1960s and Limerick (Trinity United Church) was added. Woodrow United Church also became part of the charge ca.1969 until it closed, December 31, 2005.

The name of the charge was officially changed to Lafleche-Limerick Pastoral Charge, as of June 12, 2014.

Local church congregations in the United Church are organized into pastoral charges, each run by a governing body, such as a Council or Board. Charges can often include more than one local church or preaching place congregation under the leadership of a minister.
