Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Lawrence Joseph Clein (b. 1934) received his medical education at the London (England) Hospital. Dr. Clein was consultant neurosurgeon at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton. He was later appointed clinical professor of Family Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. He served as medical director of the Palliative Care Services for the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region in Regina,. Dr. Clein retired from his academic teaching role in 2016. Upon retirement from his clinical practice, Dr. Clein assumed an increased role in teaching within the Regina Campus (2021).
