History
The Indian Head Athletic Association raised and disbursed funds for events such as the 1918 Dominion Day Celebration, which involved horse races, baseball, basketball, athletic sports, a parade and music bands. The association continued to organize Dominion Day (Canada Day) programs until 1959, when its assets were turned over to the Indian Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
