Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Garth Bruce was born in 1945 in Whitewood, Saskatchewan. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated from the College of Medicine in 1970. He practiced medicine in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, for three years, after which he went to Toronto and specialized in pediatrics at Sick Children's Hospital. Dr. Bruce returned home to the prairies, where he practiced in Regina for nine years, then to Saskatoon for the next 27 years. Dr. Bruce died in Saskatoon in 2016.
