Scope and content
The Saskatchewan Bulletin, Feb. 1, 1989, p. 2; "Ping Li, a 30-year-old Grade 7-12 English teacher from Hangzhou city in Zhejiang province of the People's Republic of China, second from left, demonstrates the use of a traditional Chinese abacus to Grade 12 students at Prince Albert's comprehensive high school. Ping is assisted by George Georget, left, her Saskatchewan teacher-advisor. She's spending this school year visiting Prince-Albert-area schools to improve her English, learn more about Canada and pass along information about her country to Canadian students. Ping says "she's glad to be here, to let students know more about China."
