Head and shoulders image of Dr. Steve Sorden, associate professor, Department of Veterinary Pathology,Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Steven Sorden earned his DVM from Iowa State University in 1984. He earned his PhD in Pathology/Experimental Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. From 1993-1996 Dr. Sorden was associate professor, Department of Veterinary Pathology, Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. From 1996-2006 he was associate professor, Iowa State University. In 2006 Dr. Sorden joined Covance (Madison, Wisconsin) as an anatomic pathologist for nonclinical studies of drug candidates. In March 2020 he joined SDS Pathology LLC, located at Fort Collins, Colorado, as a veterinary anatomic pathologist.
