Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Alfred Henry Grenz was born on 22 December 1914. He graduated with an MD from the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 1940. By 1967 Dr. Grenz was president of the medical staff at Santa Ana Community Hospital, Tustin, California. Dr. Grenz died on 27 January 2010, and is buried at Ascension Cemetery, Lake Forest, Orange County, California. His son, Jonathan Grenz, age 44, a real estate agent from Costa Mesa, Calif., suffered with a fast-spreading throat cancer; he died in 1993 with Dr. Jack Kevorkian's assistance in suburban Waterford Township, Michigan.
