Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Christine Theoret is a graduate in veterinary medicine of the Université de Montréal (UdeM) and the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Theoret has been a full professor in UdeM's Department of Veterinary Biomedicine since 2009. She heads the Comparative Veterinary Tissue Healing Laboratory and is a researcher with GREMEQ, the Groupe de recherche en médicine équine du Québec. An internationally recognized expert in the treatment of wounds and tissue regeneration in horses, Dr. Theoret has served on the advisory boards of a number of biotechnology companies and national and international associations. She has served as dean of veterinary medicine at UdeM in 2010 (2021).
