Algemene aantekening

The teacher was N.N. Osment. Norbert Norris (Norbie) Osment was the youngest of four sons of Arthur J. and Loretta Osment. He had one younger sister. He taught at the old Katepwa school before going overseas in WWI and then returned to teach in the new school. The first Katepwa School was built in 1887 and a new school was constructed in 1919. That school is still standing (as of 2021 and is a private residence) (see Indian Head History Book pp 86-91; 586-587)
