This building is located at the 600 block of 6th Ave. east and shows two men standing in the doorway of the Canadian Utilities power house (Mr. Whitlock and son). A transformer station is seen beside the building.

During the 1940's this plant was operated by the Canadian Utilities and in the next few years it was taken over by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation who closed it down when they supplied power from a main grid.
