Bio/Historical Note: Dr. F. Barry Brown began teaching at the University of Saskatchewan in 1964. He established the Educational Communications and Technology Program at the U of S, is a former president of the Association for Media and Technology in Education in Canada and received AMTEC’s prestigious Leadership Award in 1987, which recognizes a person who has made profound contributions to educational technology in Canada. Dr. Brown retired in June 2007 from his position as head of Department of Curriculum Studies and is Professor Emeritus (2023).
