Administrative history
The building plans were stored in the Engineering Department at Moose Jaw City Hall. Mrs. Leith Knight retrieved them for the Moose Jaw Public Library Archives when the Engineering Department slated them for discard. The predominant architects were R.G. Bunyard, Reid & McAlpine and Henry Hargreaves. Several of the blueprints were drawn for the Security Lumber Co. Ltd. by architect J.B. Stephanson.

This collection consists of thirty-three sets of blueprints and technical drawings for homes, businesses, and schools in Moose Jaw and area, primarily from the early 1900's and 1920's. Many of the drawings are “proposed” plans and the building may have never been constructed.

Physical condition
Many of the sheets were extremely brittle. 32 sets are rolled and wrapped in Mylar. The drawing of the YWCA is stored flat.
