The collection consists primarily of correspondence, photographs and memorabilia documenting Allison’s friendship and political association with John Diefenbaker – starting with Allison’s advice to Diefenbaker about his leadership convention in 1948. In addition to correspondence, there are a few detailed notes to file documenting conversations between Allison and Diefenbaker, including a 19-page document entitled “Notes on the Election of the Diefenbaker Government” (1957), which also covers the appointment of Diefenbaker’s first cabinet.

This fonds contains material relating to the research work, students, faculty and administration of the College of Arts and Sciences, and its departments. These records generally contain correspondence, minutes, reports, and memoranda; they may also contain material relating to associated national or international organizations, research articles, and addresses.

This fonds documents the career of Douglas Schmeiser, notably his work as a constitutional advisor both in Canada and internationally; his work with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan, as well as his study of judicial independence and judicial compensation; and his work on human rights.

This fonds reflects Kerr's vocational and avocational interests. His academic activities include not only his own writing in a variety of genres but also his editing, assessment and review of the contributions of others to prose, poetry, drama and film. His service to the community external to the University is primarily evident in the political, arts and heritage fields.

This fonds contains correspondence and memoranda relating to the administration of the Department of Economics and Political Science. Included is correspondence with Regina College, other universities, and the provincial government. Also included is material relating to the formation of the Institute for Northern Studies and the administration of the M.J. Coldwell Essay Competition.

This collection contains the papers, pamphlets, reports, correspondence, and newspaper clippings which Dr. K.A.H. Buckley has collected from his involvement in the South Saskatchewan River Project.
