Additionally, there is material from Thompsons's tenure as President of the University of Saskatchewan; material related to the International Botanical Congress and the International Congress of Genetics; and several reference books, primarily dealing with Medicare in Canada and abroad.

Additionally, this fonds contains some documentation relating to Holmlund's tenure as Acting President in 1989 including briefing notes for incoming president JWG Ivany; and to Holmlund's work on the boards of Ag-West Biotech, the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, etc. Publications and addresses from the whole of Holmlund's career are also included; these relate to his prior work in biomedical engineering, computing services, USG, etc. as well as to his senior administrative duties.
