The collection includes color and black and white photographs and negatives from Wesley Aikenhead's private collection. Most of the images are of Saskatoon, Melfort and Melfort's surrounding area.

The fonds contains three scanned black and white photographs from Imogene Watt's personal collection. The original photographs were taken during the 1940's and 1950's. The images are of Golden Stream S.D. #5206 students and staff members.

The fonds contains three black and white photographs from Walter Dupin's personal collection. The photographs include images of East Bend school and students of approximately 1939, Beatty high school students of approximately 1944, and a Sunday School class at the Dupin home in approximately 1936.

The fonds contains scanned copies of black and white photographs from Mary Walcer's private collection. The original photographs date from 1917 to the 1930's. They were scanned at 300 dpi with 16 million colors. The images are of the Maryville S.D #2790 and the Maryville district near Gronlid, Saskatchewan.

The collection contains four scanned black and white photographs that include images of the Wilkinson children (Claude, Kathleen, Ken and Lyla) in the 1920s, of harvest near Tisdale at the Hugh Barnum farm in the late 1920s, of Lyle Boice Barnum holding Lyla Baity (nee Wilkinson) in the 1910s, and a formal portrait of Malcom Barnum (left) and Hugh Barnum (right).

This collection includes photographs taken in the Melfort region. Subjects include: a threshing crew, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Downie, the town of Melfort, and Mrs. Clagett's funeral coffin. The originals date from the 1910's to the 1950's.

The collection contains two black and white photographs from Toni and Jeanette's personal collection depicting students standing outside of the Harriville schoolhouse. One photograph features the Harriville School honour roll students of 1931, while the other features the 14 students of Harriville School of ca. 1933.

The collection contains black and white original photographs of Melfort sports teams between the years ca. 1924 - 1953. Three feature Melfort hockey teams of the early 1920s, while the reamining four feature Melfort Junior baseball teams of the early 1950s. Historically significant images include those of Melfort's Saskatchewan Junior Champion baseball teams of 1950 - 1953.

The fonds contains black and white photographs from Stoney Creek S.D. #332. The photographs date from the 1950's to 1964. They include images of Stoney Creek school students and teachers and a cake from the district's 60th anniversary.

The fonds contains a set of nine black and white photographs dating from approximentally 1929. The set belonged to Dorothy Snelling's deceased grandmother and they were part of her personal collection. The photographs were taken from the top of the Melfort Water Tower. When placed beside one another they provide a 360 degree view of the Melfort town site. One photograph is missing from the set.

The fonds contain black and white photographs from Sandra Fedosa's private collection. They include images of the Ontario Ladies College, Melfort Hotel, Broadway School, Flett Springs Post Office, as well as Melfort's Sports Day, train station, and pioneers.

The Collection contains black and white photographs from Ruth Marshall's private collection. All of the photographs are of Melfort businesses and streets including the water tower, train station, and Sask-Tel building.

The donor, Muriel Rolles, was a teacher at Berlin S.D. #1958 and the photographs are from her personal collection.

The collection contains one black and white photograph taken in 1913 of a steam tractor threshing outfit and team in the Naisberry, Saskatchewan district. Printed on a postcard backing, the photograph contains information on the individuals depicted on its reverse. The photograph was from Robert Attrill's personal collection.

The fonds contains black and white photographs from Erma Reeder's personal collection. The photographs date from the 1950's and were taken in the Fairy Glen area. They include images of Rothwell S.D. #318, Fairy Glen S.D. #2263, and Fairy Glen High school.
