The fonds consists of letters and photographs (some with explanatory notes) sent to members of the Harris family – including Mrs. Oliver Harris, Eva and Lucy Harris – by members of the Methodist clergy who had served at North Portal, Saskatchewan.

Contents include letters from and/or relating to: Jesse Arnup, 1907-1936; Mrs. Charles Endicott, 1904-1910; Herbert Harris,1911-1912; Herbert Harrison, 1913-1914; Ethan Riley Hine, 1907; Fred Martin, 1910; F.G. Norris, 1919; and Rev. Thomas Oliver, 1916-1923. Photographic portraits accompany the Arnup, Harrison, Hine, and Martin documents.

The fonds, related to the Swift Current Royal Purple Lodge Number 93, was created by the source during its existence. Records include 25th anniversary records, administrative files, celebration tea, club history, memberships, meeting minutes, miscellaneous records, newspaper clippings, and reports.

This fonds consists of materials used, created, and accumulated by the Westlund and McAusland families. The majority of the material consists of financial records related to the farming operations of Arthur Westlund and Clarance McAusland near Brownlee and Melfort, Saskatchewan respectively. Although broadly speaking, the story of agriculture in Saskatchewan is well known – cyclical environmental factors, changes in product prices and markets – this fonds provides evidence of the impact of those changes on the lives of a single family, over decades. How that family interacted within the local community is also revealed in terms of how and where they spent their income. The source material, in farm account books, vendor receipts, property tax assessments, banking and investment records, income tax returns, crop insurance documentation, and other materials generated from the farming operations, provides direct evidence of farm and community in the lives of one farm family over generations. In addition to the farming records, there is a small amount of correspondence, family memorabilia, ephemera, and artifacts. The fonds includes some material related to the Saskatchewan Liberal Party as the McAuslands were members of the party for a number of years. The fonds also includes records related to the operation of the Royal Winter Snow Plow Club, of which Clarance McAusland was a member. There is also a small collection of publications which are largely related to agriculture.

This fonds contains correspondence, diaries, minutes, research material, published and unpublished articles and presentations that document the interests and career of Lenard Findlay. There is also material pertaining to a number of university and external organizations, societies, committees and organizations.

Fonds contains a series of collected offprints relating to Morrall’s field of study spanning almost a century.

The collection consists of various documents and photos about Indian Head's agricultural heritage, including the Bell Farm, the federal Tree Nursery and the federal Experimental Farm. The Agriculture Collection includes materials related agriculture and includes, especially, series pertaining to three major agricultural developments in Indian Head 1) The Bell Farm (Qu'Appelle Valley Farming Company) which was a huge farming venture of 57,000 acres promoted by Major William Robert Bell in 1881-1882 to Eastern Canadian and American shareholders. The venture finally failed and Major Bell left Indian Head in 1895. 2) The federal Experimental Farm which was established in 1887 under the superintendency of Angus MacKay and continues to conduct research as Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Indian Head Research Farm . 3) The federal Tree Nursery (PFRA) resulted from the promotion of trees and shrubs for shelter by Angus MacKay , the superintendent of the Experimental Farm . Established as a separate federal government station in 1901 under the superintendency of Norman Ross, it provided trees and shrubs for farmers throughout the prairies until its closure in 2014.

This collection contain about 2000 photographs, negatives and slides of Melfort and District.
