This fonds contains correspondence, reports, publications and memoranda relating to the research activities of Herman Austenson, as well as some administrative records relating to the department of Crop Science and Plant Ecology, and the research activities of the Crop Development Centre. Some of the materials were created by J.B. Harrington; these files have been identified whenever possible.

This fonds contains material that documents G.M. Simpson's interests and activities during his career at the U of S. Of particular note is the extensive collection of photographs by John Diduck and Rudolph Kaul collected by Dr. Simpson documenting Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, the university and in particular the Department of Crop Science and the Crop Development Centre.

This fonds contains personal and professional correspondence, lecture materials, reference and research files, and records pertaining to associations, organizations, and societies. This information relates primarily to Louis Horlick's academic and medical career as a cardiologist specializing in the cause and treatment of coronary heart disease.

This fonds documents the professional and academic activities of Dr. Dewar over the course of his career. Files pertaining to research and writing focus on the areas of sports history, including material on Indigenous athletes and athletics, and residential schools, basketball, hockey, and the Olympics. The material on teaching covers topics such as sports history and the philosophy of sport. Also included are student papers collected by Dewar from his and Professor Val Schneider's sports history classes. Many of these student papers deal with a variety of Saskatchewan teams and locales.

Fonds includes records relating to the Department of Plant Ecology's administration, teaching and research; extension work relating to the Saskatchewan Weed Survey; and correspondence with a variety of institutions and individuals. A series of minutes and correspondence relating to the Saskatchewan Committee on the Ecology and Preservation of Grasslands (established in 1935) documents the efforts to establish permanent reserves of significant grasslands in Saskatchewan. Records of the department and personal records of R.T. Coupland have often been intermingled; in particular, this fonds includes records relating to Coupland's research and other activities.

Fonds primarily includes administrative and research files relating to the Matador Project and the International Biological Programme at the Canadian and international levels.

This fonds contains material created or collected by Dr. Williamson during his varied career as an anthropologist, civil servant, legislator, professor, and as a consultant for various provincial, national and international organizations and governments. Although primarily documenting Dr. Williamson's work for and with the Inuit of northern Canada, this fonds includes material relating to all circumpolar countries, other aboriginal groups in Canada, international affairs, and a very broad range of topics as they relate to the north, including art and culture, physical geography, sport, environment, botany, zoology, economics, defence, etc. It includes his personal and professional correspondence, research data, articles and scholarly writing, as well as a substantial collection of reference publications.

This collection includes Elliott's notes, some class handouts, and various texts.

This fonds contains material relating to issues of nutrition, home economy, rural life and consumer advice. It includes material relating to the Federated Women's Institutes of Canada and various branches of the Saskatchewan Women's Institutes, together with documentation created during Emmie Oddie's career and voluntary service interests. Additionally, this fonds contains material created by, collected by, or about Emmie's mother and sister, and their careers.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, studies, minutes, articles and speeches documenting the interests and career of Dr. Matthews. The bulk of the material deals with health care in general and Medicare in particular.

This fonds contains a scrapbook (two folders) containing clippings, photos, programs and invitations. The scapbook documents the Royal Visit and Coronation, the bursar's office, general university happenings, drama and musical entertainment and wedding and other important events of family and friends.

Since 1984, Joanne Abrahamson has travelled extensively throughout Saskatchewan, and has documented virtually every city, town, village, and hamlet in the province, from Aberfeldy to Xena. Her photographs are primarily of grain elevators, schools, churches, railway stations, town offices; in some instances she has returned to a site after a period of several years, providing documentation of changes over time. A few of her images are of rural Alberta and Manitoba, with a few of the northern United States (North Dakota and Montana). In addition, she created a daily photographic journal of the demolition of the YWCA building in Saskatoon. Several of her photographs have been published.

The material in this fonds documents the literary and performance career of Steven Ross Smith.

The fonds contains contact confirmation cards collected by the club over the decades of operation. QSL cards are, perhaps, the most visible aspect of this hobby. The radio operator would send a 'confirmation of reception' (or 'QSL' in the ham's Q-code) to a listener who had proof of reception time, date and frequency as well as information on the quality of the signal received. They are proof that a shortwave radio station was heard.
