Two types of slide shown schematically
Part of W.O. Kupsch fonds
Two types of slide shown schematically. At top three blocks of earth have rotated in clay-water slurry. In the other slide total liquefaction has occurred and water forced out of the clay has formed a pond. The vertical dimension is exaggerated five times. Typical slide has a figure-eight appearance. Material the leaves a hollow at the head region piles up at the foot. The low cliff at the neck is often the bank of a river (Kerr, P.F., 1963, Sci. Amer. Nov., p. 138).

Another piece of the same clay pours like a liquid afer being stirred in a beaker. No water was added. Demonstration was made by Carl B. Crawford of the National Research Council of Canada (Kerr, P.F., 1963, Sci. Amer. Nov., p. 134).

On back of photo: "Mrs. Bludoff Sr. and Mrs. Wasyl Bludoff stringing the warp in the loom previous to the demonstration. It took the two of them almost a day to do this and the warp skein of 5 yards length had been prepared before then came. Herring-bone pattern was woven in the linen. Four treadles were used".
On back of photo: "Mrs. Bludoff Sr. of Verigin at her loom, weaving Sask. grown flour. The loom was brought from Russia about 25 or 26 years before. It is all hand made and crude. Hanging on the wall are a strip of plaid woollen homespun made of black sheep and white sheep wool, next a strip of wool homespun on a cotton loom for a man's suit, next two strips of line. All these were woven by Mrs. Bludoff. Mrs. Kosemo Tarasoff is standing.

Twenty-Fifth Street House Theatre fonds
This fonds contains administrative records, material related to the theatre season, including playscripts, programs, posters, photographs, publicity releases, reviews, and correspondence, as well as resumes of actors, directors and technicians. The records for the seasons covering the period 1972 to 1978 and 1984 to 1986, however, are very sparse. Also included are records relating to other theatres and various agencies and organizations connected with the dramatic arts. Due to the large volume of material, records relating to the play Paper Wheat have been organized into a separate series.
