The fonds consists of records created by the Saskatchewan Branch of the W.M.S., its members, treasurers, circles and committee(s).

Contents include: meeting minutes (1926-1962); bylaws and resolutions; annual reports; membership records; financial records; School for Leaders minutes and associated documents; Baby Band conference and presbyterial reports; select publications; scrapbooks; and W.M.S. Conference and presbyterial histories (to 1961). Additional historical materials included the fonds were collected by Mrs. Mary McKechnie, first president of the Qu’Appelle Presbyterian W.M.S. and later of the Saskatchewan Conference W.M.S. There is also a daily register of pupils from Round Lake Indian School (1942-1946).

This fond documents the life and career of David Kaplan. It contains material related to his family, academic and teaching career and community involvement.

This fonds contains records mainly related to Sylvia’s time as Lieutenant Governor, with correspondence, invitations, clippings, photographs and memorabilia. It also includes documents from her career as a physicist including correspondence, notes, and clippings. Clippings, photographs, and correspondence relating to Sylvia’s involvement in sports is included – predominantly curling and golf, but also fishing, baseball, basketball, and track and field. There is extensive photography and other materials documenting her travels around the world, as well as gatherings with friends and family.

This fonds contains material documenting Norman’s teaching and public service. Much of the material deals with labour, human rights and the Canadian Charter of Freedoms.

This fonds focuses on the initial proposals for courses relating to women’s studies at the University of Saskatchewan, leading eventually to the development of the department of Women’s and Gender Studies. The organization reflects the description of materials provided by the donor.
