Fonds consists of manuscripts, proofs, and photographs relating to seven books by Richard St. Barbe Baker: Caravan Story and Country Notebook (1919) ; Famous Trees (1952) ; Horse Sense: Horses in War and Peace (1962) ; Famous Trees of New Zealand (1965) ; Famous Trees of Bible Lands (1974) ; Sahara Conquest (1966) ; and Sahara Challenge (1954).

Fonds consists of personal papers of Charles Torville, including personal documents, correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, business and financial records, association files, and manuscripts relating to his activities as a businessman, mystic, songwriter, poet, and writer. Of particular interest are his letters from his sister Elsie Torville, in England (1906-08). His own writing is fractured and borders on incoherent.

Fonds consists of a typed manuscript “The Chariot of Israel, A Tale of Elijah” by James Sangster, with the author’s preface indicating St. Andrew’s [United Church], Lumsden, June 1961.

The fonds consists of textual materials generated by the Presbytery, its secretaries, committees and related bodies, in fulfillment of their responsibilities, as outlined in the Manual of the United Church of Canada.

Contents include: minutes; correspondence; statistics; historical notes outlining the history of the Presbyterian Church in the Prince Albert area, 1866-1920; and the “Historical Records of the Presbytery of Prince Albert” (1920), Written by J. Sheridan Bole, of the Historical Committee. The collection also includes “A Diary of Arthur Whiteside” (1880-1882) – a typed copy of the diary of a Methodist clergyman who established the Wesley Church and worked there are a missionary – presented to Wesley United Church, in 1954.

The fonds consists of a file of writings and correspondence created and collected by John Campbell. Contents include 2 manuscripts (ca.1990) written by Campbell on religious themes, a covering letter (April 1991) introducing himself and his work, plus letters from the United Church Publishing House (May 1990) and St. Andrew’s College (May 1991).
