Albert V. Gerry operated the hardware store on the southeast corner of Grand Ave and Dewdney Street. John Francis Hunt was the agent for Massey Harris and later for John Deere. He was on the Indian Head town council (1908-1917) including one year (1913) as mayor (see IH History Book pp 394-395; 464-465).
