View north-west across lowest terrace (present flood plain?)of South Saskatchewan river south of Saskatoon near Beaver Creek. Across the stream is Frenchman Flats at the same height as floodplain in foreground which is about 12 feet above winter water level and on which abandoned meanders can still be seen in present day topography.
